Interpreting breast augmentation pictures

It is amazing how many before and after breast augmentation pictures there are on the internet. It is also puzzling as to why some of these before and after breast implants pictures would be on display. The cosmetic results are poor or cannot be interpreted because the before and after breast augmentation photos are not standardized and no accurate assessment is possible.

The best way to view a woman’s breasts in before and after breast augmentation pictures is to have the woman standing up with the woman’s arms at her side in a relaxed position. Breasts evaluated with the woman in this posture are more likely to best resemble how they would look if she was standing in front of a mirror or in front of you. The picture is best taken at chest level at least showing her collar bones, her arms at her sides, and her belly button in all the images. Having the woman’s before and after breast augmentation photos taken from a higher or lower level can be deceiving.
